Uses and Benefits of Anchor Sleeves

Anchor Sleeves can be used to provide a location in concrete for placement of a standard bolt in a grout pocket as shown in diagram 1. Figure 1
Additionally anchor sleeves can be used with a standard bolt or thread rod through the sleeve anchored in the poured concrete as shown in diagram 2. Figure 2
In diagram 3 the standard bolt is replaced by a J-bolt anchored in the poured concrete in both these applications. The sleeve allows for the standard or J-bolt to be adjusted to an accurate alignment for equipment or structural steel after the poured concrete sets. Figure 3

Once the adjustments have been made to the bolts the sleeve can be filled with grout creating a permanent accurate anchor bolt location.
